Get ahead: Introducing online MBA’s at Wrexham

The number of businesses in the UK has increased by 63% since 2000, according to Government figures. Much of this is down to an increase in start-ups and entrepreneurs, fuelled by advancements in technology. Of course, this growth means there are a lot more opportunities for people to progress within companies and a demand for employees with a strong understanding of business – particularly in smaller enterprises.

That’s why Wrexham University have introduced three new, 100% online MBA programmes, offering ambitious individuals the chance to learn the skills and knowledge required to lead a business to success.

Career-focused

The university already has a significant amount of expertise in flexible, career-focused courses, with more than half of students studying part-time. These new qualifications will be delivered entirely online, giving working professionals across both the UK and the world the opportunity to gain a flexible MBA from Wrexham University – anytime, anywhere and on any device. Online learning presents a great opportunity to individuals with diverse life commitments and circumstances, which fits perfectly with Wrexham University’s culture. The university is committed to widening participation in Higher Education, and bringing down the barriers that prevent people from achieving their potential.

Industry-led courses are already at the heart of the university’s offering, which has helped them to achieve leading employability scores in recent years*. Links with leading local and regional employers, such as Airbus, Kellogg’s, Brother Industries and the BBC are a great asset for students. Their knowledge and expertise is fed back into the university’s programmes, ensuring that students are provided with only the most relevant knowledge and skills for their future career.

Flexible learning

Students can choose from three courses: MBA; MBA Human Resource Management; and MBA Marketing. The flexible course design offers a choice of six start dates per year, allowing students to begin studying within weeks, and a pay-per-module option is also available, spreading the costs over the duration of study.

Course content can be accessed at any time on a variety of devices; there are no fixed lecture times and there is no need to attend campus, meaning students can earn an MBA whilst still working and fit study around family and other commitments.
